The accounting and manufacturing solution - Microsoft Dynamics GP - has proved the perfect solution for Union Bio as well. It provides the integrated tools needed to fully understand financial data and processes, taking full advantage of the information available from a financial system. Union Bio also implemented the manufacturing software module to help schedule product deliveries, optimize inventory and enhance manufacturing throughput and business performance. Further system requirements included accurate management of multi-currency transactions, inventory serial and lot number tracking and controls for managing multiple sites and inventory locations.

Zone Labs Switches from Linux to Windows Server to Support Growth

Zone Labs was running a mix of unsupported, open source software on Linux, which the company deemed incapable of supporting future growth.

Assisted by Paragon Software Solutions, Zone Labs rebuilt its entire IT environment on Microsoft® software, including use of the Windows Server® 2003 operating system for core networking and directory services, Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 for messaging, and Microsoft SQL Server® 2005 database software as an enterprise data store. On that new foundation, the company replaced QuickBooks with Microsoft Dynamics® business software and implemented a new Web site built on the Microsoft .NET Framework.

HealthGate needed a robust financial platform capable of streamlining monthly financial reporting and providing easy-to-use data analysis capabilities.

Paragon Software Solutions (a full service systems integrator) provided training and implementation for the Microsoft® Dynamics GP (Great Plains) financial software package. One of the primary benefits of the Microsoft® Dynamics GP (Great Plains) software is that it is offered as a set of integrated modules. For HealthGate, the integration of the Microsoft® Dynamics GP software with Microsoft® Office applications, including Word and Excel, was an important requirement in the decision to go with the Paragon-offered solution.

Q1 Labs Enhances Accounting Practices with Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains)

Moving their headquarters location from Canada to the U.S., Q1 Labs had many multi-currency issues to address. Additionally, preparing for the move as well as for tremendous company growth revealed that accounting practices and procedures could be vastly improved.

After evaluating Q1 Labs' situation, Paragon determined that Great Plains software would deliver all the requirements of a new accounting system.
